           a. Decrease dry ingredients: date sugar contains fiber and does not melt or dissolve like refined sugar

           b. Increase healthy fats like butter or coconut oil: even adding a little mashed avocado helps provide nutritional moisture. I love mixing in grated carrots or apples too!

          Spread dough out into an 8 inch round cake pan.

          Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips and walnuts on top.

          Combine the oat flour, protein powder and Saharan Sustenance Date Sugar.

           Mix in melted coconut oil and 4 TBS Saharan Sustenance Date Syrup; stir until well combined.

          Line a standard-sized loaf pan with parchment paper. 
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

          Press the base mixture into the pan until packed evenly.

  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          For the caramel, mix together 160g Saharan Sustenance Date Syrup and 170g peanut butter until smooth and completely combined. 
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

          Pour and smooth that mixture evenly over the base.  
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          Place in the freezer for 20 minutes to allow the caramel to become firm.

  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          Remove from the parchment and cut into 12 even bars.

           Sprinkle chopped peanuts on each bar.

          Cut in cold butter until crumble begins to form.

          Drain liquid from the apple mixture then add filling to pan and top with crumble.

          Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until topping is golden brown and filling is bubbling.
