Cornbread

Ingredients:
1 cup (120g) cornmeal
1 cup (120g) all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
¼ cup (34g) Saharan Sustenance Date Sugar
½ cup (115g) melted butter
2 TBS Saharan Sustenance Date Hun-ee
1 large egg
1 cup (230g) buttermilk
½ cup (170g) sour cream (optional: for a moister bread)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 °F and grease an 8x8 pan 
Mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and Saharan Sustenance Date Sugar together in a large bowl.
Add buttermilk, Saharan Sustenance Date Hun-ee, egg, sour cream (optional) and melted butter.
Mix until just combined.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake for 20 minutes.
