Massive Chocolate Chip Cookie

Ingredients:
½ cup (115g) melted butter
¼ cup minus 2 TBS (60 g) Saharan Sustenance Date Syrup
1 egg
½ cup (68g) Saharan Sustenance Date Sugar
⅓ cup (30g) protein powder (chocolate or vanilla)
1 cup (120g) flour
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
½ cup (divided) chocolate chips
½ cup (divided) chopped walnuts
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Line an 8 inch round cake pan with parchment paper and grease with butter.
Mix together melted butter, syrup and egg.
Add sugar and let sit for 3-5 minutes to allow for the sugar to absorb moisture.
Mix in protein powder, flour, baking soda and salt until combined.
Add half of the chocolate chips and half of the walnuts and mix in.
Spread dough out into an 8 inch round cake pan.
Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips and walnuts on top.
Bake for 10 minutes. Do not overbake! (Overbaking will result in a dry cookie.)
Allow for it to cool for 10-15 minutes before removing.
